Sales Executive and Junior Sales Person

A full time vacancy exists for an enthusiastic sales and marketing person to join a small company and be involved with this exciting new market in the cellular communications field.

PPS is the European distributor for the leading manufacturer of Cellular Routers, Cradlepoint Inc, who manufacture a range of devices that allow multiple internet connections using the cellular phone network. The devices use Express card or USB modems (dongles) to connect to the internet.

We have launched an exciting new cutting-edge product range, which will targeted at mobile professionals such as sales and service reps, businesses needing portable internet connection or fail safe connection to the internet.  You will be involved with sales and marketing direct to end users,  via resellers and distribution and large key accounts.

Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities include:-

• Identifying and creating new markets
• Locating the key decision maker(s)
• Marketing activities, including website promotion content, editorials & advertising, exhibitions, mail-shots, etc.
• Providing basic technical assitance and customer service to new customers

Experience in the cell phone market is not necessary but GPRS / 3G experience is preferred. You must be reliable, self motivated, enthusiastic and driven with an ability to find and investigate new markets and have an interest in world leading technology

The applicant will be part of a small but expanding team operating out of the new offices in Bampton Business Centre. You will need to demonstrate marketing skills and a good telephone manner with good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Knowledge of computer networking or mobile phones is an advantage but is not mandatory.

You should be educated to a minimum of A level standard, although candidates with University or college education or with a particular interest in IT and Communications would be particularly welcomed.

Basic salary starting at £24,000 , plus Commission based with high earning potential, WELL in excess of £50K.
